# List company column values

`GET /companies/schema/{column}/values`

Returns the allowed values of one closed-list company column: hq_country, headcount_band, revenue_range, last_round_type or industries. Company names and domains have no values route and are answered as not found. Free.

## Parameters

| `column` | path | string | yes |  | The column name, as `GET /companies/schema` prints it, for example `headcount_band`. |
| `q` | query | string | no |  | An optional search string that filters the values by slug or by label. |
| `limit` | query | integer | no | 100 | The maximum number of values to return. The default is 100. |

## Response

The values of the column.

- `value` | string | required. The canonical slug. Slugs never change.
- `label` | string | required. The display label. A label may change, so never store it.
- `count` | integer or null | optional. How many rows carry the value, or null when it was not computed.

## Failures

| Status | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `400` | The request shape, a filter key, a value, a cursor or the enrichment mode was rejected. |
| `401` | The credential is missing, unknown or revoked. |
| `404` | The id or the column does not exist, or the row was opted out. |
| `429` | The key passed 300 requests a minute or 2 concurrent requests. |
| `503` | The data is unavailable for a short time. |
